Xiao Yao, confused after a bizarre encounter, wonders if his experience was just a dream. When he realizes he didn’t transform into a bun as he thought, the young Daoist beside him teases that he already looks like one. Xiao Yao, still rattled, asks if the Daoist is a human or a ghost, to which the boy insists on being called “Daoist Master” and even claims he has a certification, though Xiao Yao doubts its authenticity.

The Daoist offers to help with Xiao Yao’s misfortunes and notices that his drain is clogged. Xiao Yao confirms he tried everything to fix it without success. With dramatic chants and gestures, the young Daoist grabs a plunger and clears the blockage, which turns out to be Xiao Yao’s lost wig. Bewildered, Xiao Yao questions all the “rituals” the boy performed. Ignoring him, the Daoist prepares to rest, leaving Xiao Yao with more questions than answers.
